Cast favorites set to appear at screening of “The Homecoming: A Christmas Story,” the film that launched the classic TV series

Jersey City, NJ (December 1, 2011) – McCastmore Productions announces The Waltons’ Homecoming 40th Anniversary Reunion event, Friday, December 2nd, at 7pm at Lowe’s Jersey Theater in Jersey City, NJ. This very special event screening of “The Homecoming: A Christmas Story,” the classic that spawned the hit television series, The Waltons, offers fans of the hit TV series a rare opportunity to experience The Waltons in a whole new way.

Scheduled to appear at the Waltons Homecoming 40th Anniversary Reunion are: Richard Thomas (John Boy), Mary McDonough (Erin), Judy Norton (Mary Ellen), Kami Cotler (Elizabeth), Jon Walmsley (Jason), Eric Scott (Ben) and David Harper (Jim Bob).

Special series guests set to appear include Michael Lerned, Lynn Hamilton (Verdie Grant), Leslie Winston (Cindy Walton), Hal Williams (Harley Foster), Ellen Geer (Evan Mann) and Radames Pera (Paul Mann).

A Q&A panel discussion and presentation will follow the screening of the classic film.

Set on a Depression Christmas Eve in 1933, this heart-tugging story introduces the Waltons, a rural American family preparing to celebrate Christmas together.
